FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN REDMOND – FEB START!

OUR FAMILY: We are a family of four plus two cats. Mom and dad are nerds and our four-year-old seems to be turning out to be one as well! The jury is still out on the baby (and the cats).  Mom is working from home but will have minimal to no involvement. We want to be the kind of employer we ourselves would want to work for. That means mutual respect, respect for your time (getting to leave on time), being paid on time, and benefits included in the job.  You’ll be caring for our 5-month-old daughter as mom and dad go back to work after family leave. Occasionally, her 4-year old brother will be home as well, when school is closed or he is not feeling well (something like one day a month). Our daughter is a very mellow and smiley baby and her brother is a whirlwind who loves to build marble runs or lego sets.

OUR HOME: A spacious single-family home in Redmond with 2 cats who are very friendly and mellow.

OUR GOALS: To find a professional, collaborative and kind nanny to partner with. Someone with a consistent history of being on time, reliability is crucial to us!

OUR SONG: Elmo’s World Theme Song

OUR NANNY: For our children, we’re looking for a superb nanny with a genuine passion for childcare. Someone who loves taking care of babies, someone who is kind, calm, compassionate, and patient. For us parents, we’re looking for someone who is reliable, clean, organized, and thinks ahead. Also, the ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and show up to work with a positive attitude.

PT FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN REDMOND – ASAP START!

OUR FAMILY: Is small but mighty! We know the importance of taking things seriously and also when to let our hair down. We are ever-changing and growing while enjoying spontaneity, togetherness, and gratitude.  Game nights, disco dance parties, watching a movie, spa fun, and art are all things we love to do. My daughters (ages 7 and 10) are an artistic ballet dancer and future Broadway superstar. Mom is a solo parent who is looking for some help with running the house. FT NANNY NEEDED IN QUEEN ANNE – RARE 4 DAY SCHED!

OUR FAMILY: Is outdoorsy and adventurous, but also loves a quiet weekend at home. Our favorite things to do are hikes or skiing, especially with our dog- a friendly doodle who loves our daughter. We don’t have any family in Seattle so we often travel across the country to see them. Our 2-year-old is a spunky, curious little girl who loves to play with her baby dolls, trains, puzzles, and eat french fries. She’s a somewhat cautious kid who loves to chat and sing.

OUR HOME: Is calm and peaceful. We love our backyard where our dog and our daughter play and various bushes and flowers grow and bloom throughout the year. We love taking our dog and daughter to the park a few blocks away.

OUR GOALS: To find a nanny who is attentive, reliable, and creative in his or her care for our daughter. We like to travel and would appreciate someone who can join us and enjoy showing our daughter these places. We’d also love for our nanny to expose our daughter to new things and foster her learning. Someone looking for a long-term fit who can help us as we grow our family in the future!

OUR SONG: Currently, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood plays constantly in our house, so, despite wishing our daughter liked Beyonce, Daniel Tiger reigns supreme!

OUR NANNY: Will be caring, loving, and devoted to helping our daughter learn and develop. We’re looking for someone reliable who we can count on to take as good (or better!) care than we provide. We also hope for someone who can roll with the punches, has a sense of humor, and will be comfortable having our dog around as well. Someone who is open to traveling with us multiple times a year- we love going on adventures (both locally and country-wide) and hope you do too!

START: Mid-February to mid-March, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed, could either be Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Mon-Thur 8am-6pm and work overtime on Fridays (if interested).

RATE: $34-37 per hour.

BENEFITS: Child-Focused Role, Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, 2 weeks PTO nanny’s choice, $250 Monthly Healthcare Stipend.

FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN EASTLAKE – APRIL 2025!

OUR FAMILY: Relaxed, empathetic, down-to-earth, and understanding Midwestern folk who love the outdoors, our dogs, having a laugh, and are generally easygoing, chill people. Our kiddo is someone WE haven’t even met yet! We are expecting our first child in January 2025 and are looking for the right person to help us fill in the gaps as we get back to work and figure out just exactly what the heck we’re supposed to be doing!

OUR HOME: Our home is our sanctuary. We keep things clean and organized and hope to continue that once we’ve got a baby (we know it will be a challenge!) Logistically it’s a tri-level townhouse, so stairs are definitely a thing here. We live in the heart of Eastlake with some lovely views of Lake Union, and are right near a park. We have two very well-behaved and well-exercised Siberian Huskies who are incredibly sweet and loving- they do shed a lot though!

OUR GOALS: Our goals are to have an excellent working relationship between our family and the nanny we hire. This person will be helping to shape this child’s life, and so naturally we want to make sure that we treat one another with mutual respect, care, and empathy and are really able to integrate that person into our daily lives. We hope they will be open to child-related tasks during naptime and letting the dogs out when needed.

OUR SONG: Not a song, a whole album. Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life”

OUR NANNY: We hope they will be themselves! Whoever we hire, we want to make sure they’re bringing their whole authentic self to work with them every day. As WFH parents, you will be spending WAY too much time with us to be anything other than exactly who you are. If you are reliable, honest, empathetic, and kind, that certainly won’t hurt! Extensive experience with newborns, child development, and infant care are crucial. We are excited to celebrate this journey together!

START: Mid-March, TBD depending on baby and work logistics.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed. M-F, 8am-4pm.

RATE: $33-35 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, PTO, Healthcare Stipend.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny experience with children of similar ages.
  • References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term employers in a similar role.
  • Background: Spotless criminal history and driving record.

FT FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED ON MERCER ISLAND – MAY START!

OUR FAMILY: Are you ready to embark on a fun-filled journey with our lively crew? We are a family of five and a vivacious dog. We’re seeking a nurturing family assistant to care for our delightful duo: a curious preschooler (age 4) who thinks every day is a treasure hunt, and their baby sibling who is brand new. Expect laughter, fun outings, art projects, and the occasional dance party. Our son attends full-time preschool 5 days a week. If you have a knack for storytelling, engaging with preschoolers and a love for playtime, we can’t wait to meet you!

OUR HOME: Plenty of room to play! Mom will be in and out of the home with various appointments and helping to care for the baby. We also have a little pup who may be slightly suspicious of you in the beginning but always warms up to new friends!

OUR GOALS: Our childcare goals are all about nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence! We believe in fostering a love for learning through play, exploring the world around us, and encouraging kindness and teamwork. We want our little ones to feel safe and supported while they grow, discover new interests, and develop essential life skills. We want to find someone who can make our home run smoothly and can switch seamlessly to focusing entirely on our 4-year-old in the afternoons. We want him (and you!) to go on fun adventures!

OUR SONG: “The Family Madrigal” from Encanto!

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Someone who brings energy, warmth, and positivity. Values connection and passionate about nurturing growth. A self-starter who can be proactive about what needs to be done to keep our home running smoothly. The role will be focused on household duties (family laundry, meal prep, cooking, home organization and pet care) when our son is in school (while also giving mom the occasional baby break) and will switch to childcare for our oldest in the afternoons. There will be school pick-up and drop-off too. We are looking for someone flexible who doesn’t mind jumping between tasks and pivoting where needed- this will be crucial to a successful relationship! We would also love to find someone open to traveling with us (Hawaii, California etc.) several times a year.
