FT FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED ON MERCER ISLAND – FLEX START!

OUR FAMILY: Are you ready to embark on a fun-filled journey with our lively crew? We are a family of five and a vivacious dog. We’re seeking a nurturing family assistant to care for our delightful duo: a curious preschooler (age 4) who thinks every day is a treasure hunt, and their baby sibling who is brand new. Expect laughter, fun outings, art projects, and the occasional dance party. Our son attends full-time preschool 5 days a week (will switch to half-days for the summer). If you have a knack for storytelling, engaging with preschoolers and a love for playtime, we can’t wait to meet you! 

OUR HOME: Plenty of room to play! Mom will be in and out of the home with various appointments and helping to care for the baby. We also have a little pup who may be slightly suspicious of you in the beginning but always warms up to new friends!

OUR GOALS: Our childcare goals are all about nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence! We believe in fostering a love for learning through play, exploring the world around us, and encouraging kindness and teamwork. We want our little ones to feel safe and supported while they grow, discover new interests, and develop essential life skills. OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Someone who brings maturity, energy, warmth, and positivity. Values connection and passionate about nurturing growth. A self-starter who can be proactive about what needs to be done to keep our home running smoothly. The role will be focused on household duties (family laundry, meal prep, cooking, home organization and pet care) when our son is in school (while also giving mom the occasional baby break) and will switch to childcare for our oldest in the afternoons. There will be school pick-up and drop-off too. We are looking for someone flexible who doesn’t mind jumping between tasks and pivoting where needed- this will be crucial to a successful relationship! We would also love to find someone open to traveling with us (Hawaii, California etc.) several times a year. 

START: ASAP through May. 

SCHEDULE: 35-40 hours guaranteed. Current schedule is:

• Monday 7:30-3:30pm
• Tuesday 8am to 4pm
• Wednesday 8am-4pm
• Thursday 12:30pm-8:30pm
• Friday 8am-4pm

RATE: $38-40 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, 2 weeks PTO FA’s choice, $200 Monthly Healthcare Stipend, Mileage Reimbursement. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Household Experience: A minimum of 3 years professional experience as a long-term (year plus) family assistant and/or household manager.
• Childcare Experience: A minimum of 3 years professional experience as a long-term (year plus) nanny with children of similar ages.
• Proven track record: Excellent references with at least 3 previous employers who can speak to your skills and experience as a nanny/family assistant  (minimum 1 year employment with each).
• Safety and reliability: A pristine background check and driving record, current CPR/FA certification, safe/reliable vehicle, and current vaccinations.
• Legal authorization: Authorization to work in the US.
• Commitment and enthusiasm: Ability to commit to the position’s timeline and a genuine passion for working with children.

PT FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN CAP HILL – AUGUST START!

OUR FAMILY: Is dynamic! We are mom, dad, our two daughters (4.5 and 8.5-years-old) and our two friendly dogs. We are very social justice-focused and teach our kids the importance of being kind first. We love to cook and have impromptu dance parties. Our daughters are full of energy and imagination. When they are home from school they are building forts and doing art.

OUR HOME: We try to keep a relatively clean home where everything is organized and every item has a place (or we like to think!) We have two large but friendly dogs and are hoping to find someone who can help with walks/pet care. Parents will work from home occasionally. 

OUR GOALS: Our girls thrive on consistency and structure. We are hoping to find a caregiver who can help them with this but is also happy to play with them after school. Our goal is to find an assistant who can help us with household duties to help keep our home organized and running smoothly- taking initiative will be crucial so we can focus on our kids when we come home from work.

FT NANNY NEEDED IN SAMMAMISH FOR SISTERS – FEB START!

OUR FAMILY: We’re a fun-loving crew of 5 (soon to be 6!) who love hanging out and traveling together. Our crew consists of Mom and Dad, both working professionals, our two wonderful older kids (13 and 10) who are with us every other week (no care needed for them, though), an adorable 23-month-old daughter, who is literally the cutest little bundle of joy, and a new daughter arriving this Spring. You’ll be spending time with our toddler, who is a total ray of sunshine with a smile that could light up an entire room and a personality to match! She’s a big fan of hugging her stuffed animals, flipping through books, playing with her toys, and soaking up the world around her. She’s also a mini chatterbox, surprising us daily with new words and sentences—it’s like she’s always got something clever to say! She’s got a wave and a smile for everyone she meets, and she’s always grooving to any tune with a good beat. Plus, she’s best buds with our mini Goldendoodle, who follows her everywhere like a little shadow. We’re expecting a baby girl this spring, so soon enough we’ll have two little ones to care for when mom transitions back to work.  At the heart of it all, we’re a close-knit, fun-loving family who loves to sit down for family dinners, check in with each other, and dream up our next big adventure.

OUR HOME: Generally neat and tidy, though that doesn’t apply to the kid’s rooms as they have their own definition of a clean room these days. We are fairly organized and tend to keep a stocked fridge and pantry unless we miss our weekly trip to the store. Mom and dad both work from home in separate office spaces but will pop in to say hi, or have a snack together if/when it is not distracting. 

OUR GOALS: The older kids manage themselves for the most part, so we are only looking for a caring, loving, experienced nanny to take care of our wonderful little toddler, followed by our new baby later this summer. We want this person to spend the days working on both toddler and baby developmental milestones, growing their identity, creativity, and patience while helping them reach their full little human potential. PART-TIME TWIN NANNY NEEDED IN KIRKLAND – SEPT START!

OUR FAMILY: We are a close-knit and loving family of 3 that is looking forward to our big transition to becoming a family of 5. We enjoy going to parks, playing outside, and playing board games.
